Double Snowdrop:- (Galanthus Flora Plano)
Double Snowdrop are one of the first to flower in January – March. Double Snowdrop are known for naturalising well, forming carpets of little white Snowdrop flowers but are especially vibrant because of there nodding heads of double rows of petals, Snowdrops will tolerate most soil conditions enjoying partial or full shade. They can be planted in pots or borders or in grass, if planting in grass please wait until all foliage has turned brown before mowing
On arrival plant ASAP if (In The Green) soak before planting, if dried bulb also plant ASAP and water well to settle the soil. Once your snowdrops have become well established they can be lifted and divided and spread round your garden.
Flowering Time:- January – February
Flowering Height:- 10 – 15 cm.
Colour:- White.
Double Snowdrop Bulbs Planting Instruction:- plant 2 inches deep 3-6 inches apart. Allow foliage to fully die back before removal if growing in grass. Will benefited from a good mulch after die back, Snowdrop Bulbs can be lifted and separated whilst actively growing and spread to other parts of the garden. Plant in clumps of odd numbers for a natural effect
